2013 CAYBBA HOT SHOT Club - REGISTER NOW!

After last year's successful launch, we are pleased to announce that CAYBBA is again running a Chaska Hawks Hot Shot Club for 2013!    Like last year, will have two goal levels -- 10,000 shots and 5,000 shots.  The CAYBBA Hot Shot Club is designed to give players the incentive to improve their game by shooting during the off-season.

Players will log their shots taken between May 1 - September 30, 2013.    Log shots must be returned to CAYBBA Board member Nancy Boyle, 8011 Acorn Lane, Chanhassen, MN 55317 by October 5.   More information and a shooting log can be accessed via the links provided on this announcement.

Players that log 10K or more shots between May 1st and September 30th will receive a "Chaska 10K Shot Club" t-shirt and recognition at a 2013 CHS Varsity Basketball Game!  Players that log 5K shots will receive a certificate and recognition at the game as well.

Both the CAYBBA 10K and 5K Shot Club includes a Shooting Clinic that will be scheduled in Late-May or Early-June. Details on the Clinic will be emailed to all participants once the schedule is finalized.

The $15 cost for the CAYBBA 10K Shot Club program will help offset the cost of the program. This fee is Non-Refundable if the player does not complete the 10K shot program.  
Note there is no cost for registering for the 5K shot club.

Registration and payments will be taken online only.  10K Shot Club Registrants that have not paid by June 15th will be removed from the program.

CAYBBA Open Board Positions


Concessions Coordinator – This position coordinates all aspects of CAYBBA’s Boys and Girls Invitational Tournaments.  The person who takes this position will work alongside the current Concessions Coordinator until ready to take it over.  This is a full board position that requires a 3-year commitment.

CAYBBA Traveling Participant Boundaries Policy

Chaska Area Youth Basketball Association (CAYBBA) is offered for the youth of Eastern Carver County School District 112 who reside within the Chaska High School attendance area. Exceptions will be made under the following circumstances, in accordance with Minnesota Youth Athletic Services (MYAS) guidelines.
 

  1. Players who reside outside the Chaska High School attendance area, and are enrolled at a school within the Chaska High School attendance area, are eligible to participate in CAYBBA. This exception applies to students who attend private schools, attend a school via open enrollment, or attend a school via intra-district transfer.
  2. A player is eligible for CAYBBA if a parent or guardian resides within the Chaska High School attendance area.
  3. Any player residing within the Chaska High School attendance area may request a waiver allowing them to try out for the Chanhassen Athletic Association (CAA) traveling basketball program.
  4. Any player residing within the Chanhassen High School attendance area may request a waiver allowing them to try out for CAYBBA.
