Community Education is working on supplying Patty and CAYBBA Coaches with a site coordinators' name and phone numbers to help prevent any conflicts at a scheduled gym site. All practices scheduled for Nov 7th are cancelled due to the election.

    3. Tryouts & Evaluations

Many parents indicated that Head Coach Dana Kallman and his staff conducted a fair tryout /evaluation for the CAYBBA's Boy's Travel teams. The success of the boy's tryouts needs to be emulated to the girl's tryout process. The Executive has exsided their Thanks and Appreciation.

Forty candidates were interviewed for the head coaching positions.

    4. In-House Signup Numbers

CAYBBA will have an increase of 6 additional teams over last year's, for a total of 48 in-house teams. CAYBBA Coaches Clinic will be held on 11/09 at Pioneer Ridge for incoming in-house coaches.

Al Johnson suggested that CAYBBA maintain files on all teams. These files will record a team's win/loss record, tournament participation dates, team photos (formal & action), and comments from coaches about players and/or game results. The information could be used to help maintain a column of interest to CAYBBA's website and local newspapers.
